Hey guys!
This is my first pday and I am mostly loving it so far. I love the food and my district aaaand my teachers. I am super excited to learn and to actually get out to my mission. One of the best things is that I'm allergic to nuts because I can skip the lines and go to the allergy place get some nut free stuff. Sometimes the allergy stuff is also gluten free and other things so if that's the case I just go to the main lines.
But I've loved learning and just being in the MTC. Except I was feeling a lot yesterday that I've been kind of on hold with the Spirit, which was hard. But I talked to Brother Glancy, and he helped me out. He said that as long as we are right with the Lord and we are doing our best, we are entitled to the Spirit. But sometimes we can get in our own heads, especially if we are expecting a certain feeling or answer from the Spirit. And the minute I let it be and just trusted the Lord and trusted in my standing with Him, the Spirit came back, and it was pretty amazing. I'm learning more and more about how the Spirit speaks to me.
Just really quick-- something I've been learning is that Christ always turned outward. He wasn't ever selfish. And I think turning outward like that is how you grow the most. So that's what I've been trying to do the most here, and it's been really awesome.
But I gotta figure something out because it's so hard to write this on my phone.
